BMW apresentou recentemente o próximo e novo BMW M5 aos concessionários na Coreia do Sul, e desta forma foi possível saber mais pormenores do novo “avião” alemão que tanta fama tem dado ao construtor automóvel.
Diretamente ao mais importante, está previsto a motorização 4.4 litros V8 bi-turbo debitar mais de 600 cavalos de potência, o que seguramente fará desta versão M5 uma autêntica tentação no mercado automóvel na gama desportiva. A BMW anunciou igualmente que se tratará de versões 4×4 (all-wheel drive), e que poderá percorrer dos 0 aos 100 km/h em apenas 3.6 segundos. Provavelmente as empresas de reprogramações de centralina começarão desde já a fazer planos para alterações neste modelo automóvel.
Assim sendo, este novo BMW M5 (F90) será composto por alguns componentes em carbono (tejadilho, por exemplo), caixa de 8 velocidades automáticas, espelhos tipo M3/M4 (já característicos), e manómetros personalizados. Estará disponível em várias cores, com destaque para o azul “Marina Bay Blue”.
Ainda não se sabe data final de lançamento no mercado, mas adivinha-se que será apresentado publicamente no evento Frankfurt Motor Show em Setembro 2017.

Most importantly, it has been confirmed that the new M5 will indeed get in excess of 600 hp, courtesy of a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine. BMW told attendees that when working in conjunction with the all-wheel drive system, the new M5 will hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 3.6 seconds, a figure which could decrease when the car is revealed to the public.Speaking of the all-wheel drive system, it will have three different options to vary how much power is sent to the rear wheels. The most exciting of these options will send 100 per cent of power to the rear wheels, just like the new Mercedes-AMG E63 S in ‘Drift Mode’.
We’ve also learned that the F90 M5 will get a carbon fiber roof, a modified 8-speed automatic transmission, wing mirrors similar to the M3 and M4 and a custom gauge cluster. The new model will also be available in Marina Bay Blue for the first time along with new 5-spoke 20-inch jet black wheels, reports Bimmer Post.
